Hello, I’m João.
I offer a space where you can slow down, be met with warmth, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or wanting to understand yourself more deeply, I’m here to support you.
In our work together, we explore your experiences with compassion, especially the parts that may feel difficult, painful, or confusing. At the same time, we gently look at where change is possible: where you have choice, agency, and the ability to move forward in new ways.
My approach is relational and human. I believe that meaningful change happens when we feel understood, but also when we begin to take responsibility for how we respond to our lives.
Our work may include understanding past experiences and trauma, developing emotional awareness, and finding new ways of relating to yourself and to others.
My intention is to walk alongside you as you build a stronger sense of self, more clarity, and a way forward that feels truly yours.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. It can bring uncertainty, but also the possibility of something changing.
Our first session is a space for us to get to know each other. We’ll explore what’s brought you here, what you might need, and whether this feels like the right fit for you.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. We can take it at your pace.
In our work together, you’ll have a space where you can speak openly and be met with understanding, without judgement. Alongside that, we’ll begin to gently explore what might be keeping you stuck—and where change could begin to happen.
My aim is to support you in finding a way forward that feels more grounded, more intentional, and more your own.
Sessions available in English and Portuguese and they cost £50/50€ (Online Only).
Concession rates available if you are a student, unemployed or from a low income household.
